AI Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive integration test plans, including automated testing.

• Use AI tools to automate test case generation, defect detection and regression testing.

• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to identify and resolve integration issues, using AI insights where appropriate.

• Validate AI components within trading platforms and incorporate machine learning models to predict failures and optimise testing.

• Identify, document and track defects, verifying fixes through regression testing.

• Provide detailed testing reports, metrics, risk assessments and AI-driven insights.

• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and mentor junior QA engineers.

• Promote AI-powered testing practices and share knowledge across teams.

Main Skills:

• Strong interest in AI and machine learning for software testing.

• Experience with AI testing tools such as automated test generation and anomaly detection.

• Proficiency in test automation tools (especially Python) and understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Analytical skills to interpret AI results and refine testing strategies.

• Experience with Linux OS: Proficient in navigating and operating within Linux environments, including executing shell commands, managing files and processes, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting common issues. Comfortable with scripting and automation tasks to support testing and integration activities.

• Experience with root cause analysis: Skilled in systematically investigating and identifying the underlying causes of defects or system failures. Able to use diagnostic tools, analyse logs, and collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues efficiently and prevent recurrence.

• Minimum 3 years of experience testing backend or middleware applications, preferably in banking or brokerage systems.

• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proactive, detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in English; French is a plus.
